KIDS’ FISHING DERBY
The Optimist club of St. Clair Beach Annual Fishing Derby is a Saturday morning of fun for the family. Bond over a long standing tradition held at the North end of Tecumseh’s beloved Lakewood park. Each child participating will receive a hotdog, chips and drink, and a prize. Bring your rod and reel if you’ve got one. The club will provide worms.

Food
Optimist Club of St. Clair Beach will be providing free hotdogs and snacks to all children who attend.

Fishing
Whether it’s your child’s first time picking up a fishing rod, or the 99th time, all kids will have an opportunity for learning and fun!

Prizes
The fish you catch will be measured up against the rest, with the help of our club volunteers who will keep track and rank your catch. Every child goes home with a prize.
